Bought an Astra for my son from here in November, everything first rate from start to finish.No pressure from Adam , happily let me take it for an unsupervised test drive. Arranged to pick it up the next day. When we arrived to collect it, it had been fully valeted and Adam spent a good amount of time showing us all the controls etc , we have now had it over a month and have had no issues with it at all, would have no hesitation buying another car from them

Adam was really helpful and did us an excellent deal on recent Hyundai purchase. Car is in very good condition inside and out. Adam kindly included free floor mats and 3/4 tank of petrol. Would definitely recommend to others if you are looking for a value car.

Cannot rate Adam, Mario and the team highly enough. Purchased a BMW 5 series from them recently. Car was great value - excellent condition and mileage and at a great price having spent a long time prior looking for the right car. Very honest, knowledgeable and absolutely no pressure at all. The wholes sales process and after support has been a pleasure. Already in discussion about sourcing a car for my daughter before she starts driving in January!! A1 chaps! thanks very much. :-)

I recently purchased a three series BMW from Adam at Value Cars York and what a breath of fresh air. Adam was polite, friendly and took his time to show me around the car. He also showed me all the service history and advised he had sold the car seven years ago and the owner had traded it in for another car he was selling. There was no pressure to buy and was given ample time to take a test drive to make sure it was the car for me. The communication given was excellent and advised me when the car was going to bed ready and even did some repair work to the car as part of its MOT. If you are in the market for a good quality used car, with proper customer service,you won't go far wrong here

Would highly recommend value cars. Adam and Mario were both very helpful and looked after me throughout the buying process. Adam was great to talk to and sorted out all the paperwork. Very helpful after service and nothing is too much trouble. Well worth a visit if you are looking for a car, if they don't have what you want they will get it. We have bought our Audi 3 from Adam and co. The service was brilliant and very helpful and friendly. We have a small problem with car after a couple of days, we rang them and they sorted very quickly and paid for the repair. Would recommend to everybody. Thank you all Carol and Tony Duhig

Rubbish service, spent over 2 days contacting via phone and email and too busy to read texts or speak, only one member of staff as other in Scotland so short staffed and just asked re negotiate price of 2 cars and asked re how can pay more for a new one l texted them it was my mum's money l was borrowing she is dead so ended up crying horrible and humiliating experience would never go the them ever or use them everyone negotiates and should not be questioned where l get my money from it was a better car 2nd one so having to borrow it l do not need to explain if they get the money and cash totally disgusted !!!!

It most unfortunate and very regrettable to receive a review like this. Particularly, from a customer who never met us to know what we are really all about. All our previous customer reviews testify to the excellent service and care we offer. We offer all our customer an excellent service, we go the extra mile and a have no quibble guarantee on all our cars In ten years with value cars we have never experienced such an reasonable person that demand discount simply because the Autotrader website recommend a lower price or they will give us a bad review. We politely declined to offer the discount the customer asking and based on that we were given such a bad review. Although it is very difficult at the current pandemic financial situation to find cars below £1000 We are happy to look after our customers and find a cheap car to suit their needs.

Top service from Adam and Mario. My son bought his first car from them the week before Christmas. Although he had a slight glitch with the car the guys resolved it very quickly without any hassle. Excellent customer service.
