Was looking for my first car and Heard about value cars in York. What they currently had wasn't what I wanted or interested in so the car dealer asked me what car I wanted and basics like cost, mileage. Etc. Within a couple of days he found the car I requested and gave me a great deal too, was very happy with the car and experience and would recommend to anyone else looking for a car to buy from value cars.

Very friendly and helpful.this has been the easiest buying experience I have ever known .I arrived on the off chance they had a car I liked and 45minutes after seeing one I wanted I was driving it home.I would recommend to anybody .

Adam at value cars responded promptly to any communication prior to my visit. Whilst there Mario was friendly but not pushy letting me take the car for a test drive a couple of times without pressuring me for a sale. As a single female buying a car this was refreshing . Would recommend Value Cars to anyone interested in buying a used car.

I wanted to buy a used car so I could be more flexible. As a student, my budget was very limited. My housemate drove me to Value Cars and we had a look around. By chance, I found a cute Suzuki Wagon. Despite having to leave for a wedding, the seller hoped in with me and we went for a short drive. The car also had incredibly low mileage, due to only having had one owner. I decided to buy it. Since it still needed to be cleaned, we agreed that the seller would come pick me up when it was ready. I bought the car that day and have been enjoying my new freedom. When my engine light came on, I brought the car to Value Cars, they took a look and determined that it was the EGR valve. They gave it a clean and it was fine for a while, but came back on. They immediately offered to source a replacement valve for me and only charged me the (very low) cost of the part, not for replacing it - this was done within 24h of me reporting the problem. Above and beyond, would definitely recommend them!

My experience at Value Cars was superb. I have bought cars from other dealers in the past and have felt intimidated. As a female in a predominantly male setting it is very easy to feel out of my depth and to be honest I am as I know very little about cars! With Adam it was a totally different experience, a complete breath of fresh air. I visited Value Cars with my friend, basically there for moral support and advice, and it turns out I wouldn't have needed her for that. We were able to look around without any hassle and when we asked to look at certain cars Adam was available immediately to help. I was able to test drive a car and not at any point did I feel under any pressure. The car I liked needed a few things doing to it and after a very relaxed chat a deal was made. I arranged a day to collect my new car and Adam spent time with me showing me how everything works, all the alterations had been carried out as promised. I absolutely love my new car, I will recommend to all!

I saw a car that I wanted to see and check out. The same day I went I was felt at ease by Adam who chatted to me about a deal that he will try do for me and let me know. He was very quick in doing this and on the same day the deal was done. I'm happy with my new car even if something had to be fixed but Adam was fast at dealing with this issue and got the car back to me very quickly. Definitely recommend Value cars.

Great service from Adam who put up with my busy schedule and came back to let me view the car later in the evening. Adam showed me different cars, let me try them. I choose a lovely vauxhall meriva and I am really pleased with it!!! He was not a pushy salesman and made it as easy as possible for me. I will definitely come back to value cars for the next one!
